MINGLANG Life Products was established in 1996 with capital of USD2500, four workers and 80 square-meter factory in Guangzhou. In its first year, it grossed about USD 100, 000, enough to prompt a move to a 300 square-meter location in 1997. That year, turnover hit USD 375, 000 and, by 1999, it was more than USD 1.1 million and the turnover for 2004 is USD 10 million.
The company will put up a new manufacturing plant in Panyu, Guangzhou this year. It will provide six workshop floors with an area of 35, 000 square meters. We are investing USD 2.5 million in the new factory and plan to export more to Germany, the US and other countries. We need to prepare our new factory for this. Already we have established long-term partnership with two leading brands regarding OEM / ODM distribution. We expect turnover to hit USD 25 million to USD 37 million once the new factory is fully operational.
